San Andreas Adventure Tour by Jeep Date: Wednesday, August 4, 2010 Time: 7:00 am – 11:00 am Journey through a natural palm oasis, spectacular box and slot canyons, and an ancient fossil bed as your Jeep winds its way through the incredible maze created by the San Andreas Fault. On your journey, you will learn about the plants and animals that have uniquely adapted to survive in the desert. Your expert guide will also explain how earthquakes and tectonic forces created the slanted, vertical, and wave-like structures that have been described as the most tortured landscape on Earth. This tour includes a visit to the Epicenter Earthquake Education Center, featuring photos, colorful displays, and interactive demonstrations that interpret the San Andreas Fault, geology, and earthquakes. -Open-air jeep eco-adventure with an expert naturalist guide -Guided nature walk or short hike -All admissions, taxes and fees -Granola Snacks -Bottled water Cost: $99.00 per person The Departure Site will be at front of the Marriott Hotel at 74855 Country Club Drive.
