Objective(s):
This colloquium will focus on the new multi-disciplinary topic of using biodegradable mulches in specialty crop production systems. It will feature speakers who are (inter)national leaders in horticulture, soil, polymer, textile and socio-economic sciences as well as representatives from industry. Important aspects of product development, field application, grower acceptance, and environmental impact/benefit will be explored and shared.
