Challenges and Opportunities in Plant Identification Laboratories

Undergraduate horticulture programs are tasked with many challenges to successfully educate the modern students. The purpose of this study was to determine challenges faced by students and faculty/staff while also investigating opportunities for improvement. Undergraduate students enrolled in plant identification courses at Mississippi State University were given surveys to collect data. Findings were used to incorporate new instructional methods at Mississippi State University.
