This interactive workshop will provide insight and advice on a variety of topics from preparing for publication and the job market to practical tips for making the most of your time in graduate school. One of the greatest opportunities to avoid some of the common pitfalls is to learn from those that have been successful. Our faculty presenters will provide expertise on various topics including job application materials, poster and presentation tips, and communicating science. A graduate student panel of experienced students from various universities will also offer their perspectives on succeeding in graduate school and will answer attendee questions. Learn how to make the most out of your graduate school experience along with how to prepare yourself for success on the job market.
