'Madang Ball' is the newest garden chrysanthemum (Dendranthema grandiflorum) released from the Yesan Chrysanthemum Experiment Station in Chungcheongnam-do ARES. 'Madang Ball' is the result of cross pollination between 'Magic Ball' and 'Getallila'. The characteristics were investigated from 2010 to 2013 for the evaluation and selection of this variety in natural culture conditions. It is a vigorous and uniform plant that usually begins blooming in early October. It has semidouble-type flowers, red-purple color petals, and a spreading plant shape. Flower diameter is 3.1cm and the number of flowers is 851. These were checked for local adaptability on growth and flowering characteristics in the cities of Yesan-gun and Suwon.
