Objective(s):
The goal of this workshop is to assist participants in writing meaningful statements describing the impact their work.

Abstract:

Increasingly, impact statements are an expectation for publically funded work. While they allow us to describe our work using powerful, succinct language, many of us struggle to write impact statements. In this workshop, our presenters will provide key concepts and approaches to documenting impacts. Participants should bring draft impact statements to the workshop. They will work with the presenters and other participants to strengthen their impact statements based on workshop content. All of the participants will leave the workshop with more focused and clear statements describing the impact of their work.
