Objective(s):
The tour is free, but pre-registration is required and is limited to 30 people. A sign-up sheet will be available at the ASHS registration desk on Tuesday, Aug. 4. As a prelude to the evening workshop, tour participants will see the ReFresh New Orleans food hub, an aggregator and distributor of local produce, and enjoy lunch at their adjoining Liberty’s Kitchen. Lunch is not free and is the responsibility of the participant. The tour and workshop are generously supported by Whole Cities Foundation in partnership with Broad Community Connections, Market Umbrella, our panelists’ affiliate organizations, and The American Society for Horticultural Sciences.
