The objective of this workshop is to familiarize the audience with several of the latest innovative computer applications in horticulture for research, extension, and instruction.

With ever-changing developments in computers, software, and high technology, one's professional development calls for keeping abreast of the latest innovative applications. Three speakers will present their experiences with innovative applications of computer usage developed for research, extension, and teaching. The audience will learn about acquiring 3D images using an inexpensive 3D scanner and trends in 3D image analysis, novel applications of drones in horticulture, and comparison of online meeting platforms.
