The rhizosphere is an essential but sometimes overlooked component of crop systems. This workshop is designed to present information on new research an monitoring techniques for rhizosphere studies, breeding of root traits, and manipulation of the rhizosphere with exogenous growth substances and/or management practices to enhace crop performance.
