Various cultural practices are available to growers to help improve the growth and flowering of orchids. The manipulation of light quality is such a cultural practice. Altering light quality can be done through photoselective shade cloths and light-emitting diodes (LEDs). They help to enhance the culture of potted orchids and micropropagated orchids.
