Workshop-Developing Soft Skills in Tomorrow's Leaders (CEU Approved)

Objective(s):
Objectives: To share and communicate ideas on the development of soft or career skills in post-secondary students from varied perspectives.
How do we develop the necessary soft skills in today’s college students to prepare them to become tomorrow’s leaders? This workshop, co-sponsored by the Teaching Methods and the Graduate Student Working Groups, will highlight and discuss various aspects of soft skill development from the perspective of graduate student, junior and senior faculty, and academic administrative members. Members will present strategies, ideas, and tips aimed at the importance of developing soft skills critical to meeting demands of the industry.
