Session will provide insight on what is needed from an administrative perspective to gain promotion and tenure in a university and how international reputation plays a part. How do you gain an international presence? How do you get invited to speak at international conferences? This has become an increasingly important area due to evidence of international reputation being more widely required as a key criterion for tenure and promotion (especially promotion to full professor at many institutions of higher education). Speakers will show successful engagement strategies and how ASHS can be the conduit to establish international connections for our members.
