The presentation will focus on the importance of horticulture particularly in Southern Africa and discuss the role that the (USAID) Farmer-to-Farmer program plays in generating rapid, sustained economic growth in the agricultural sector through short-term technical assistance provided by U.S. volunteers. Presentation will include a brief overview of F2F including examples of F2F volunteers and their work as well as short-term opportunities available at CNFA for horticulturalists.
