2019 ASHS Annual Conference

After the initial presentations about funding for collaborations with institutions in different regions of the world, the audience will have the opportunity to contact our experts personally. Therefore, the meeting room will be divided into three areas or information desks: one desk, headed by Dr. Ferguson, deals with funding questions in general; a second desk, coordinated by Dr. Mitcham, emphasizes international horticultural cooperation with African and Asian institutions; and a third information desk with Dr. Ferrarezi and Dr. Ebel provides information about opportunities in Latin America. Our experts answer concrete questions about funding and grants for students and faculty. Their advice includes information sources, contact persons, sponsors, but also about strategically skilled behavior for applicants. This information is helpful for academics interested in international research projects, research networks, student exchange, sabbatical stays, as well as for hosting foreign faculty.
