Under high tunnel production, some common pests have responded to changes in the light environment through changing plastic cover type, while others have been decreased by the employment of certain cultural controls which were made more feasible by using high tunnels compared to the open field. Specific examples of these situations with berry crops, which are susceptible to a number of pests and diseases, will be presented.
