Garlic  is  one of the most important vegetable growing in Mexico. Increasing yield and quality is the main goal of the producer. During this study  three growth regulators were evaluated. The  used variety was Taiwan, with a population of 300,000 plants per hectare. A randomized complete block  design was used and the treatments were six applications  per hectare  applied in 20 days intervals. Treatments were: 1.- Sagastym  500 cm3ha-1 , 2.-  Cytoburz  500 cm3ha-1, 3.- Biozyme 500 cm3ha-1 , and 4.- Control.
Use of Sagastym  was the best with  13.43 tonha-1 yield and a bulb diameter of  50.09 mm,  Cytoburz  was in second place with 13.05 tonha -1 and 48.22 mm bulb diameter, Biozyme  yield  12.88 tonha-1  and  47.80 mm bulb diameter. Control  got the lowest yield with 10.94 tonha-1. These results indicated that the use of growth regulators increase garlic yields and improve quality in Sonora, Mexico.
