Objective(s):
The goal of this workshop is to bring together agencies that fund research in the areas of horticulture and food systems. The agencies will showcase their grant programs and present strategies for success. The workshop will have representatives from NIFA (National Institute of Food and Agriculture), FFAR (Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research), OFRF (Organic Farming Research Foundation), Fred C. Gloeckner Foundation, and AFE (American Floral Endowment). The workshop will have two sub-sessions each with oral presentations followed by an open panel discussion. Funding agencies will bring flyers and other documents for the session.
